Useful Resident Evil 4 Remake Chart Highlights Weapon Stats and Secret Tricks
A fan of Capcom’s
Resident Evil 4 remake posts a handy chart listing the full stats, damage
multipliers, and more for each of the in-game weapons.
Players
of Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 remake struggling to decide
which weapon to use to take down the game’s hordes of enemies now have a bit of
help thanks to a fan who took the time to break down the full stats for each
weapon, putting the results in a helpful chart. The remake of the survival
horror classic has been a financial boon for Capcom, with the company recently
announcing that the Resident Evil 4 remake is now the
second fastest-selling game in Resident Evil history.
Released earlier this year, the Resident Evil 4 remake
saw Capcom’s acclaimed GameCube title join the ever-growing list of Resident
Evil games to receive a graphical and gameplay overhaul for modern
gaming hardware. Keeping much of the GameCube release’s story and settings
intact, the Resident Evil 4 remake was praised by many players
for streamlining the gameplay while keeping the overall feel of the 2005
original intact. While the game has been well-received overall, the Resident Evil 4 remake was review bombed after
release by some players upset with issues ranging from cut content to gameplay
that they felt hewed too closely to the original game.

Looking to give players of the Resident Evil 4 remake
a helping hand as they take on the game’s hordes of deadly enemies, Reddit user
Dibilowas created a detailed chart listing out the full stats for each of the
game’s weapons along with other useful information. Providing a breakdown of
everything from the stopping power and damage outputs of firearms to the damage
modifiers applied when shooting foes in specific areas, the chart should be an
invaluable resource for gamers struggling to decide what to buy when browsing
the wares on offer by Resident Evil 4’s mysterious merchant.
Fans of the Resident Evil 4 remake
loved the handy reference guide to some of the game’s hidden numbers and
mechanics, with one user commenting that “This is 100x easier to look at than
my post of pure text lol.” Several users were happy that the chart included a
breakdown of where enemies take the most damage in addition to the weapon
stats, with one Redditor shocked to learn that shooting foes in the limbs
halved the damage received. Not everyone was swayed by the story told by the
damage numbers on display, though, leading several Redditors to take to the
comments to advocate for the superiority of the riot gun despite the chart
showing that the W-870 is a slightly more powerful shotgun.
While every player is likely to develop their own personal
preferences when it comes to Resident Evil 4’s many wieldable
weapons, this chart should provide a handy starting point for players looking
for ways to build the most effective in-game arsenal. And with breakdowns of
damage modifiers for every possible way of stabbing a Ganado, even players taking
on the masochistic task of beating Resident
Evil 4 with only a knife and handgun should find some
value in sneaking a peek at these hidden numbers.
Resident Evil 4 is available now on
PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
